The Sales Coordinator is responsible for managing the sales team on behalf of the National Customer Group. Sales coordinators require excellent organizational, administrative and communication skills, together with an ability to deliver high standards of customer service to both internal and external customers. The coordinator is responsible for managing reporting, onboarding new employees, reconciling the budget and managing accounts payable for the group as well as coordinating meetings.
Create a variety of ad hoc reporting for the sales team such as weekly, monthly, quarterly & ad hoc reporting, pattern reports and building reports combining multiple data sources
Maintain sales and departmental budgets, to include analyzing actual vs. forecasted, monitor PCard payables, AmEx reconciliation, etc.
Plan and coordinate various meetings and events such as kick-off and sales meetings as well as coordinate travel for the department
Manage the purchase and adequate inventory of all promotional materials and mailings for 3rd party vendors
Coordinate unit and back-end budgets by region
Sales program coordination and tracking
Capital Signs program administration including budgeting, PO Log, program training, macro reporting for corporate management (reporting mainly used during budgeting time)
Process all non-Affiliated Retailer enrollments, terminations, and account changes including coordinating with Consumer Regions, Commercial, Credit, Tax, and Customer Master departments to collect all required documentation for action.
Communicate enrollments, terminations, and account changes to any affected staff including internal and external vendors (Driving Force, National Account, Purchase Resale, POP, Dealer Locator, CFNA, Fill In Program etc.)
Keep detailed records on enrollments, terminations, and account changes utilizing record keeping tools provided internal electronic websites (BFConsumerSales.com & Contract Management)
Problem solve account issues after enrollments, terminations, and account changes have been completed
Coordinate and track Sales Analytics tools (Tire Navigator & Tire Connect)
Coordinate teammate development of the sales team with HR
Complete special projects as needed
Maintain online web based POP site
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field is required
Project coordination experience
Tableau and Salesforce.com experience is preferred
