Position Summary:

The Retail ERP Systems Analyst acts as a liaison between the business and the technology functions of the Retail ERP team. The position is responsible for identifying, analyzing and documenting the business needs of the business, interpreting their requirements into a system design that will help the business achieve their goals and resolve their business challenges via Retail ERP information technology systems. The Systems Analyst plays a key role in the Retail ERP solution delivery and production support to maintain a high service level for the business.


  • Collect and document business requirements accurately to capture business need and ensure technical understanding for the development teams

  • Develops functional designs to achieve business solution within Retail ERP systems

  • Reviews and obtain functional design approvals from stakeholders

  • Manages requirements and functional design through entire lifecycle of a project

  • Participates in system testing as needed

  • Contributes to user acceptance test plans and participates in the execution of the UAT

  • Develops and maintain universally understood (IT and business) procedures for permanent records to be used in training and as system documentation

  • Participate in the support to Retail ERP Systems for production incidents, including the analysis and remediation solutions

  • Establish working relationships with colleagues and collaborate cross-functionally with the business as their primary contact for IT


  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferred computer science, accounting, business, but not exclusive

  • Functional understanding of Accounting, A/P, A/R, Banking, National Account Billing, Store Merchandising, and Store and DC Procurement

  • Experience in business analysis, requirements definition and building system solutions

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Outstanding documentation and organizational skills; able to assemble and present information clearly

  • Ability to multi-task and quickly adapt to changing priorities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
